Chopstix - Trafford Centre
If you ever find yourself wandering through The Trafford Centre with a craving for something quick, flavorful, and undeniably satisfying, Chopstix - Trafford Centre might just be your best stop. Tucked away in The Orient food court, this vibrant noodle bar doesn’t just catch your eye with its bold signage-it grabs your appetite with the smell of sizzling noodles and crispy chicken wafting through the air.
What sets Chopstix apart in the realm of Asian fast food is its seamless blend of speed, variety, and consistency. Whether you're grabbing a bite between shopping sprees or looking for a solo dinner spot that doesn’t feel lonely, Chopstix delivers both comfort and convenience. The Salt and Pepper Chicken, crispy and coated with just the right amount of seasoning, is one of the standouts. And if you're feeling a bit adventurous, pair it with the Chicken Katsu and Noodles combo-a perfect contrast of crunch and slurp that hits all the right notes.
You’ll also find options like Spring Rolls and Chicken Balls, ideal for those who prefer finger food or want to build a mixed plate. One thing Chopstix does well is offering flexible portion sizes and the ability to mix and match proteins and bases-whether it’s Brown Rice, classic Lo Mein, or their signature noodles. It’s a small plates setup, but big on flavor. And yes, if you’re after a “Slop” bowl (as locals cheekily call the mix of several dishes in one), you’re in for a messy, spicy, and strangely satisfying treat.
The speed of service here is a game changer, especially for lunchtime crowds. No long waits, no pretentious menus-just pick your protein, your base, and go. That’s why it’s popular among office workers, solo diners, and even families looking for a fuss-free meal. The team behind the counter keeps things moving with efficiency, and you’ll often find them topping off bowls with generous scoops, which doesn’t go unnoticed when you’re hungry and in a rush.
Accessibility is another major plus. Located on the Lower Mall level with wheelchair-friendly entrances, toilets, and car parks nearby, Chopstix ensures that everyone can enjoy a stress-free dining experience. Whether you’re dining in at one of their casual tables, grabbing a takeaway to head back to the office, or using one of the no-contact delivery services, the options are there to suit your day.
Their noodle-to-protein ratio also deserves a mention. It’s generous-really generous. None of that “too many carbs, not enough meat” situation. It’s well-balanced, flavorful, and leaves you feeling like you got your money’s worth. Dishes like the Manchurian Chicken bring a tangy, slightly spicy depth that breaks away from the typical fast food monotony, and if you want to keep things classic, the 3 Different Chicken selection lets you sample the best of what they offer in one box.
From a pricing perspective, Chopstix holds its own. It’s affordable, especially when compared to other quick eats in The Trafford Centre. You won’t find fancy plating or fusion gimmicks here-just bold, familiar flavors served hot and fast. Whether it’s the comforting chew of noodles or the satisfying crisp of their fried options, there’s something about Chopstix that brings you back.
And for those thinking about catering for an office lunch or casual group event, Chopstix offers catering services that keep the same quality and speed, scaled up for your party. You can expect crowd-pleasers that don’t compromise on freshness or portion size.
All in all, Chopstix - Trafford Centre isn’t trying to reinvent Asian cuisine-it’s giving it to you straight, hot, and hearty, with zero compromise on flavor or speed. Whether you’re a regular or just passing by, it’s one of those spots that delivers exactly what you hoped for: fast food with soul, spice, and satisfying bites in every forkful.

If you're not overly fussy about your noodles and are just hungry, it's a relatively OK place to go. Don't expect anything spectacular.
I really love chopstix and decided to grab some lunch while in trafford. The food is LUSH, as a vegetarian I’d recommend the noodles, pumpkin katsu and also vegan beef stir fry; they were really short on potatoes so our portion was small despite ordering a large box but I was hungry so ate it up. Very affordable and good deals.
